Tips from Top Wedding Abroad
Wedding Planners

Question Seven:
Is there anything that clients can do to help make the planning of their wedding easier?

Wedding Planners Tip No. 7

Wedding Planners Answers:

Yes, read the part about the paperwork more carefully. This they have to do for themselves back home… and often (50 % of the cases) they forget a stamp or forget the deadline! That is stress for everybody which could be prevented easily.

Listen to advice. Most clients do listen to experienced advice and it is particularly important when getting married abroad.

A common example - I know that the dinner in France is the key element of a wedding and that it will normally last for a long time and will be more substantial than a wedding breakfast in the UK. Nine times out of ten, clients do not need an evening buffet but most will request this. The majority take my advice and do not waste money paying for extra food that would end up in the bin!
Get Married in France

For a successful wedding, a couple should consider booking a wedding planner based on trust and the way the planner can assist them, rather than booking a planner based on the package or service cost.

Both planner and couple should work in full harmony and trust. We also highly suggest booking a wedding planner for a wedding in non-English speaking country.

Proceed to Question Eight
Do you like to meet your clients before the wedding day? Is a couple of days before satisfactory or would you prefer to be able to meet with them earlier in the planning process?

Return to Question Six
Do you like clients to communicate with individual suppliers, such as florists, band etc or do you prefer that all communication goes through you?
