Or for the adventurous at heart, you can choice to get married in the bosom of Mother Nature and spend your wedding day on one of South Africa’s many wild life parks. A must in any case for the honeymoon plans!

Many of our friends have chosen to get married abroad and really enjoyed the experience of combining their wedding day with a honeymoon. We choose South Africa as we wanted to get married somewhere different than the normal destinations – South Africa seemed to offer such a choice of things to do and different types of marriage. When we looked at it closely we were pleasantly surprised at just what great value for money South Africa offers. We got married on a wine farm in the beautiful town of Franschoek just outside Cape Town. We combined some traditional elements such as the service with a South African twist or two and had a fantastic day. For our honeymoon we saw all the sites in Cape Town then headed off up the garden route, experiencing the beaches, culture and even a bungee jump. We had been there before on holiday and had a great time and we just could not imagine any better place to get married than on top of the Table Mountain.
