Wedding Dress – Real Brides Dresses

Well look no further. This page is dedicated to showing the beautiful dresses that the real brides featured on Weddings Abroad Guide chose for their wedding day.






Interestingly, although some brides went barefoot on the beach, wore flip flops or chose lighter material, most of the brides still elected to have a traditional style wedding dress.

Beth
Beth’s dress was designed by Catherine at Premiere Bridal Salon in Swansea. Beth always knew exactly what she wanted (particularly given the setting of the wedding) and also knew that she would not find it “off the peg” so to speak. Catherine captured perfectly the style and look of Beth’s ideas. The dress was white cotton with an off the shoulder blouse, under bust corset and bias cup gypsy skirt.

Finished off by a pair of flip flops – just the thing in France in June!




Callie
Callie wanted her wedding dress to fit in with the beautiful surroundings of the Amalfi Coast and as a result chose a stunning Benjamin Roberts design which had a very Mediterranean feel to it. It was a full length, column dress with a very slight fishtail and shoe-string straps. It was close fitting and overlaid with lace with silver and beads, and had a medium sized lace train.

Callie’s wedding shoes were from Rainbow Club.






Caoimhe
Caoimhe chose an elegant wedding gown from Berketex Brides for her wedding in Italy. It was a stylish simple corset and skirt with a train and silk overlay.

Her shoes were from Paradox.











Charlotte
For her wedding in France, Charlotte chose a stunning Christiana Couture wedding dress. It was a strapless ivory satin design covered in beaded tulle with a puddle train that bustled at the back.

Her wedding shoes were from Jimmy Choo and Burberry Prorsum and she wore gorgeous earrings by Erickson Beamon.










Emma
Emma’s gorgeous wedding gown for her wedding in the Italian Lakes was lovingly handmade. It was Ivory Basque and the bodice was beaded with Swarovski crystals and tied up with ribbon at the back.

Her shoes were from Karen Millen.










Jane
On one of the many visits to France to organise her wedding Jane found herself in a wedding dress shop and fell in love with her strapless 2 piece ivory dress which she had made to measure.

Jane wore shoes from LK Bennet.














Leeann
Leeann’s gorgeous fully boned wedding dress was exactly the dress she would have chosen even if she had been married at home. She looked every bit the princess when she married Russel in a fairytale wedding at the Wedding Pavilion at Walt Disney World, Florida.

Her dress was from Fatal Attraction in Herne Bay, Kent and her shoes were from BHS.









Leanne
For her untraditional wedding in Kenya Leanne chose a traditional wedding dress from the House of Couture in Hornchurch, Essex. She looked striking in her slim A-line dress which was beautifully beaded across the bodice and all the way down along the hem.

Her wedding shoes were from Rainbow Club.








Louisa
For her wedding in Cyprus, Louisa chose a gorgeous strapless light chiffon wedding gown from Veromia. Her bodice was heavily embroidered and sparkled in the beautiful Cypriot sunlight.

Her shoes were from Confetti Bridal.










Rachel
Rachel’s chose an A-line wedding dress which featured gorgeous pearls on the bodice and was finished off with a shawl for her wedding in Malta.

Rachel very cleverly bought her wedding dress off ebay from Thailand.











Sian
For her wedding in Sri Lanka Sian wore a gorgeous ivory strapless A-line dress from Jewlz which had beading across the top.

Sian commented “it was very light and comfortable to wear, it travelled perfectly and didn’t even crease in the suitcase!”

Fittingly for her beach wedding Sian went bare foot!






Sophie
For her wedding in Cyprus Sophie wore an ivory strapless satin A-line full length gown with Lilac and silver beading. Her dress was purchased from Special Occasions.

Sophie commented “I knew it was going to be hot in Cyprus, but even though it was a little heavy I was fine and didn’t get too hot”.








Vanessa
For her wedding in Las Vegas Vanessa wore an ivory two piece dress. The stunning corset which was heavily boned and laced at the back had beautiful beading around the top.

Her dress was a Lucy Lin design from Berkertexxx and her shoes were from SaraNa.












Wendy
Wendy looked stunning in her strapless chiffon and beaded Jasper Conran wedding gown and turned many heads as she walked through the streets of Sorrento, in Italy’s Amalfi Coast.

Her bridal shoes were from Ravel.













Zoe
Zoe chose a beautiful Veromia wedding dress for her wedding in Cyprus. Although traditional looking, the draped chiffon over netting made her dress quite floaty and very light to wear. The bodice had a sweetheart neck line and buttoned up at the back.

Zoe's wedding shoes were from Faith.
