Hattonchatel Chateau - Lorraine, France

Hattonchatel Chateau is a magnificent castle with a beautiful view and I think it's the perfect romantic setting for a wedding abroad.

You can see the lake "lac de Medine" several miles away, in addition you have a clear view over the valley with small forests and local villages.

The Chateau has a rich story - all the way back to the 9th century. An American lady Miss Bella Skinner restored the castle after it was partly destroyed after the 1st World War.

After you enter the huge gates you enter another world. You can imagine yourself being a Prince or Princess, arriving to the ball, that's going to be held in the fabulous knights hall "La Salle de Burgraves", which is a listed hall.

The suites with en-suite bathrooms are huge and authentic. Most of the walls are made of very nice fabric and they all give you a warm and welcoming feeling.

The chapel next door adds to this fantastic location and it is the perfect setting for a romantic wedding.
