Wedding Photography by Giuseppe Laiolo

Creative Photojournalism and Portrait Wedding Photography.

Natural light, spontaneity and creativity in a fun and relaxed atmosphere: Giuseppe’s signature is a blend of photojournalism with planned creative photography.

Italian Wedding Photographer

Giuseppe was born in Naples and raised in Milan. He started shooting for the first time when he was stationed in Beirut as part of the multinational peacekeeping forces in 1983. He trained first in Milan and then in Rome in portrait and photojournalistic photography and later in videography and video production.

Giuseppe soon realised that he could express his creativity with weddings: capturing the emotion in the special moments of this personal celebration. His motto is: relax and have fun, concentrating more on the emotions and fun of the moment rather than posing in an informal manner.

Whether you are having a wedding in Venice or Lake Como, Tuscany, the Amalfi Coast or even a wedding in Sicily, Giuseppe travels anywhere, including internationally.

Giuseppe’s Style
Giuseppe’s style of photography is essentially a photo-journalistic approach coupled with a small amount of classic portrait photography. Most of the wedding is shot in a casual manner, you will hardly even be aware that there is a photographer at work! The wedding will proceed and the emotions and events will be captured in a very unobtrusive manner that allows the natural expressions of the bride and groom and their family and friends to emerge.

When it is time for the important family and group shots, Giuseppe creates a fun atmosphere and obtains these in a swift and entertaining way that allows people to enjoy themselves without having to pose for a photographer all day long.

Whilst your guests are commencing the aperitifs at your reception and having their first glass of sparkling wine, Giuseppe will take you to local panoramic locations to do some casual shots. After all you have come to Italy where there are so many beautiful monuments, dramatic sceneries and charming characteristics and it would be a shame not to use them as a backdrop for your wedding photographs.

Giuseppe uses Digital Photography in order to give a couple more choice and ultimately flexibility. The quality is exceptional and it allows for freedom of expression; you can easily choose colour, black and white or sepia, you can crop, adjust and retouch the images as much as you want. During the editing period Giuseppe looks at every picture and edits and retouches them individually if needed.

Thank you for the wonderful photos & video. They are absolutely beyond our expectations. With creativity you captured everything we wanted: the expressions of our emotions, the landscape, the spontaneous moments. Thanks for all the fun we had during the photo session & your friendly approach.

Arrienne & Bob Arienne & Bob, Tuscany, May 2008
It is with pleasure that we would like to thank you for taking such beautiful pictures of our wedding day. From many people we received compliments that your pictures not only show the beautiful Tuscan scenery, the magnificent chapel of Montastery and the well dressed bride and groom and their guests, but also captured the loving spirit of the day.

We decided to have a small, intimate wedding day, with our closest family members. Many thanks from our friends and family who were not present in Italy. They feel that they have got an excellent impression of the beautiful atmosphere of our wedding day, by looking at your photographs!

For us, our wedding day was a dream come true. After returning home to Holland, it felt like a dream. By looking at your pictures however, we can experience that dream over and over again....grazie mille!
