Desert Springs is nestled on the South Eastern Coast of Spain in the Almanzora Region of Almeria. Europe's only international award winning luxury family resort and Championship Desert Golf Course, Desert Springs offers a stunning and unique location for an unforgettable Wedding Celebration.
With its unique microclimate offering over 300 days of sunshine a year, the weather should be one thing you will not have to worry about! The Resort is within easy reach of three main airports, Alicante, Murcia and Almería making access easy and inexpensive.
Our dedicated Wedding Coordinator will work with you to arrange all of the details helping to make the Wedding of your dreams a reality. As well as offering a choice of locations for your Ceremony and Wedding Celebration, Desert Springs can also help you arrange any or all of the following:
- Accomodation: The Lodge style of accommodation available at the resort for wedding guests is individually set around the Indiana Desert Golf Course, in an extensive range of large luxury country villas, cottages, colonial townhouses and apartments. The spacious country villas all have fairway frontage and private pools. The clusters of individual country cottages, the colonial townhouses and apartments are also set around pools and exquisitely landscaped courtyard gardens. The individual style and setting of each element of the accommodation, within this beautiful rock and cactus desert parkland, with its spectacular views and golden light, create a sensation of great luxury, a tremendous feeling of wellbeing and an ambience of supreme serenity.
- Transport and Transfers: Be it a Vintage Wedding car, Airport transfers for 4 people or a bus for 50 people, we can arrange all of this for you.
- Food and Beverage: One of the most important elements of any celebration. Whether you are celebrating in the Award Winning El Torrente Restaurant or the African themed Crocodile Club, your Wedding Coordinator will work closely with you and our Chefs to put together a menu. You will then be invited for a tasting to make sure all of the details and presentation are exactly as you would like them. We also offer options for hot or cold buffets for the evening and pre and post Wedding Celebration options.
- The Ceremony: We are able to help you to arrange Church Weddings, Civil Ceremonies and Blessings at the Resort.
- Flowers: We work with a range of florists to make sure that every desire can be catered for.
- Hair, Beauty and Make Up: Among other things Desert Springs boasts an on site Day Spa offering all the services required to make sure you and your Guests look your best for your Wedding Day! Hair and make up trials can also be arranged.
- Photographer: We work with a range of different photographers to make sure we can find the style to best suit each Bride and Groom and to ensure you end up with the pictures you want to always remind you of your Wedding Day.
- Wedding Cake: We are able to recommend local companies who specialize in making Wedding Cakes.
- Orders of Service, Table Plans and Name Plates: Your Wedding Planner can arrange, design and print all of these so you do not have to worry about all of the tiny details!
- Child Minding and Baby Sitting: We offer the services of a licensed Child Minder.
- Entertainments: Your Wedding Coordinator will be able to help you find and choose the entertainment to suit your Wedding.
- Pre and Post Wedding Celebrations: If you are coming all the way from England or Ireland why not extend the celebrations and make the most of your time with friends and family? We can arrange to deliver a buffet to your Villa for the evening before the Big Day, affording you some quiet time with friends and family to prepare for the celebrations! The day after we can arrange a Traditional Paella and Sangria party at the Cave Bar on the Resort giving you a chance to gather again to reflect on your wonderful day.
