Children at a Wedding AbroadDo you invite children to a wedding abroad? Inviting children to a wedding is a very personal issue. You will know immediately how you feel about this.
If you do not wish to have children at your wedding abroad this can be a slightly more controversial than normal. You cannot expect your guests not to bring their children away with them BUT you can have a say as to whether the children come to your wedding itself. One of the best ways to tackle this is to organise a babysitter to look after the children on the day of the wedding.
If you are happy to have children at your wedding it is also a very good idea anyway to have a babysitter at your wedding venue. This will allow the parents to relax and give the children an escape if they become restless or tied. Ensure you cater for children’s special needs, such as children’s meals and setting aside somewhere they can sleep if they get tied.
