Weddings Abroad News & Views, Issue #001 -- Where Does the Time Go? October 19, 2007 |
Where Does the Time Go?Can it really be 4 years … Can the Rugby World Cup really be here again … And what are you asking does this have to do with getting married abroad?
It was 4 years ago that my husband (then boyfriend) and I set off from London to Australia to visit my family and friends and to watch the Rugby World Cup. In between Rugby matches we took a trip to the Whitsunday Islands and while taking a helicopter ride over the beautiful Whitehaven Beach, there laid out in the sand below were the words “Will you Marry Me?”. Shortly afterwards my new fiancé commented that he had just had the best week of his life - I like to think it was due to our engagement rather than the fact that England had just beaten Australia in the final! And here we are 4 years later, England is back in the Rugby World Cup final … it’s not exactly déjà vu for me as no “big diamond” has appeared … although I do have one very excited husband … mmm maybe it was the Rugby win!
I also can’t believe that we have just celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary … please someone tell me, where does time the time go?
If you are using a Wedding Planner to plan your wedding abroad, I highly recommend that you grab a nice hot cup of coffee and maybe a chocolate biscuit (or two) and read the following: Learn what Wedding Planners really think It will help you learn what wedding planners really think and how you can work with them to make your day more successful. Looking for some funky and unique wedding invitations?
Check out Le Big Kiss … personally I think their name says it all!
Thinking of getting married in Cyprus? Paphos Prestige Weddings have a brilliant fully paid “Look & See” visit. They offer a service whereby you can go and visit Cyprus to view various venues and organise the finer details for your special day. Their 'Look & See' visit includes your accommodation, flights and at least two mornings one-on-one with your wedding co-coordinator.
In my opinion this is definitely something to take advantage of.
So in the spirit of the Rugby World Cup – think I will have to sign off by saying “Go England”!
